This isn't so much going to be a contest.
It's more of a co effort work in progress.
There will be no placements, only glory
to all who should happen to submit an entry.
Below you will find that I've posted two links.
The Wolf Man (The Beginning), The Wolf Man (The End).
Your job will be to write what happens in between.
Afterward, I'll merge them all together for a continuous read.
There are only two rules here that apply.
Your entry must be in the form of Rhyme
and do not begin where The Beginning ends
or I'll be forced to choose and make disqualifications.
I'll post the finished product on my personal website
then provide a link here for all to read the finished write,
where I'll acknowledge all who contributed to the story
and your names will be links to all of your poetry.

01. Wolfman

Form: Rhyme

He had lain all night the grizzly bear was gone
The wolves had come out to see the kill done.
The alpha male sniffed at the man, just left by the bear
The smell from the man aroused a memory lying there.
Many years before the wolf had fallen over the edge of a cliff
His fall was broken by branches, and he was nearly frozen stiff.
He remembered the scent of a male, but human kind
As he so carefully lifted him and his wounds he did bind.
He was not sure why this human male
Would help out the wolf that was so ill and so frail.
The alpha male as his wounds healed quite slow,
Swore that the scent of this man he would always know.
As the man tried to train him in ways of men.
The wolf made a promise if they met again.
He would repay the kindness, and the good feeling,
From the man, one with nature, who now needed healing.
The grizzly had gone they had chased him away.
This man would now live, but he promised the wolf way.

02.  Part 2 the wolf story contest

Form: Couplet

They surrounded him with ruthless intentions,
Until he quickly decided to mention,
“I am more like you wolves then you think”
“I am your human, missing link”
“Let me prove to all of you”
“That I am capable of being a wolf too”
Their blood thirsty eyes suddenly subsided,
He was given 24 hours to show them he should be permanently invited,
For he had nothing to lose and everything to gain,
He had just survived a grizzly bear’s night time game,
The man explained that he had just retired,
The life he had lived had simply expired,
He was now more alive than he had ever been before,
Little did he know what these wolves had in store,
The journey was to begin at sundown,
When all was quiet and no one was around,
They would come for him at half past eight,
And challenge this man and test his weight,
They said there last words then scuttled away,
Leaving this man to his thoughts all day,
He knew he was different; his head for the first time was clear,
He felt empowered and had not one fear,
With it all planned out in his mind,
He was confident that they would accept him after tonight as their kind,
He did not question what would happen if he failed their test,
With pride in his heart, he was confident he would be the best,
To keep himself busy until they came back,
He walked to a nearby stream, pulled out the knife from his knapsack
Caught some season trout,
He showed those fish what he was all about
He spent the rest of his day relaxing in the sun
Until darkness arrived and the fun had begun…

03.  Wolfman

Form: Rhyme

As the wolves continued to hunt in their pack
There was nothing that they would lack
They found a man who would join the nightly hunt
Raiding the forests in their nightly jaunts
No, fear did they seem to display
Hunting at night and sleeping  by day
As each early morning sun would rose
He would find himself in a crouched up pose
It felt like he was living some strange, strange dream
For his clothes were dirty and ripped at the seams

05?.  Wolf Man Betwixt

Form: Rhyme

Into the soupiest of nights he stirred his grub over fired up logs
Eating beans off a can as nocturnal creatures slept on tree clogs
Shoved another log into the roaring fire as his memory recalled
His labor days as a lumberjack and his forest accosts with bears

An alien language out there in the city lights but here in the dark
He spoke to souls who died here without as much as a dog’s bark
Sleek as cougar he was agile with a loaded gun often gut suffices
Rarely used weaponry he knew predators inclinations their vices

Once he saved a wolf from the clutches of death hunting for goat
Kiva trapped inside a device was released half alive, bloody coat
He watched them slithering like panther ghosts an instinct primal
Behavior mode a hunter with a know how, the lone wolf, dismal

To be continued….

06?. The Leader of the Pack

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

The Wolf Man (The Beginning)
================

Now the spirit of the wolves lives on in my heart
the strength it gives surges through my veins
her presence fills my soul
Bringing such a peace but forever running wild
My inner wolf guide teaches me loyalty,
loyalty to the land, the energy that flows through life
connecting every living thing..

She brings her wolf medicine to me on rays of moon beams..
She urges me to quest for new levels of consciousness
to trust in my instincts and allow my inner knowledge to grow.

The silver moon her ally as she guides me through dreams..
I learn to hunt under the darkness of night skies, like wolf herself,
my natural instincts given as a gift, my senses grow strong
I trust in myself more...
Wolf has taken me into her pack, she offers me protection
and in turn asks only for loyalty for the land..

As days grow longer with age, the wolf never leaving my side
an eternal friend, Steps taking longer to take, travels not as easy as once before,
With strong affinity and the guidance of a mother, she leads me to my final path...

===============
The Wolf Man (The End).

My story is taken from a Native American Spirit stone reading I did, for your contest.. wolf is very much a part of your guidance in life Billy.. as is bear..
* In Native American animal spirits the wolf is representative of a female spirit.

07. WOLF MAN

Form: Couplet

Woke up with a funny taste in my mouth;
Drank all my mouthwash, think I ate a mouse.

Burned out my razor just shaving my face.
It seems that I'm shedding all over the place.

I'm allergic to silver, the Wolfsbane's in bloom,
And I hate it whenever we have a full moon.

Can't keep a girlfriend, they don't understand,
No walks in the moonlight while I hold their hand.

My dog doesn't like me, the cat ran away,
And others bemoan one single bad day.

08. Wolf Man

Form: Rhyme

Yes, it is another monthly full moon night.
Again, the wolf man’s appearance caused fright.
He wanted the persons know he meant no harm.
However, when they saw him, it caused great alarm.
He has inadvertently been seen in public once more.
His encountered beings turned and ran away as before.
He thought, “Oh how accursed I be as a walk the land,
I would like to explain to them so they would understand.
They never give me the chance; so away they flee.
It appears they will always be afraid of me.”
So thought the wolf man as he was standing in the clear.
These mortals won’t accept me out of ignorance and fear.

09. Who

Form: Rhyme

Ring! Ring! The ambiguous sound always stays true
My last year implacable acquaintance is renamed as “who”
Perfidy to the fidelity is what who do

Ring! Ring! Driving to the next didactic coterie
I pass the car I will transcend, unlike poetry
Where the topic to be… who I see

Which didactic coterie is who in, unfortunately it’s mine
Since my car got a new engine and placed in a faster line
Ring! Ring! Who keyed my trunk and felt it was fine

Ring! Ring! Who I loathe to sit near
Simultaneously, those Medusa eyes should be fear
We used to drive together… as so I hear

Ring! Ring! Time to go home
The inhibition of hate is so close gone
Perfidy to the fidelity, who said it wasn’t wrong

Who wants to re-acquaint because my car has speed
Who was never a friend in need
So why should who be a friend indeed

10. Fear feeds the Beast

Form: Rhyme

The wolf man cometh hairy, dank, and musk.
It’s the chill that enters your spine after dusk.

He is coming to get you on this full moon lit night.
Its waiting for you in the shadows, and out of sight.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, and to your surprise.
He will appear with a blank cold hard look in his eyes.

With fangs, and claws at the ready for your premature demise.
It is our own fear the beast feeds on, that we'll come to realize.

11. Full Moon

Form: Couplet

Look at the bright full moon
It appeared so soon
Stare at the skies
While the ground is lit by fireflies
Absorb the scene
At midnight, its so serene
A scene of perfection
To it, there can be no rejection
Listen to the echo of silence
A precedent for an act of violence
Here I am showered in this light
No resistance, nothing else in sight
Giving me catastrophic power
My expectations were no lower
I sense a change in me
A demon that has been set free
A monster hiding under my skin
As if it were my very own kin
I can feel my features disfigure
Thanks to this mystical trigger
I feel indestructible
Annihilation I'll cause, unthinkable
I'm a hunter by instinct
All my logic, extinct
This little prey
Will have a price to pay
I'll play with it for a while
Run after it for a mile
Corner it, then I will
Savouring every moment of my kill
Every bite is a bliss
Feels like an angelic kiss
Every slash is holy
Giving me ultimate glory
My conscience watches the horrific scene
While the remains of my victim, I clean
In my head its a melody in tune
That is my curse and the full moon

12. The Hidden Simplicity of the Macabre

Form: I do not know?

Hidden deeply in the disparadised mind;
Lays a spot where hope fails to rise.
Disapprobation of crosses, crescents, and stars,
Eidolicly veiled over our internal scars.
Reason allows and insidiously leads,
through the ghastly realm of immortality.

Saints may follow, yet will never lead;
Zealously trying to help you regain your blind normalcy.
This and that may temporarily ease the sore.
The material bliss is quickly lost, once again aware of
Your place as times required whore.

Oh! With the outmost certainty, even the worms
Will succumb to the rot of eternity.

13. One more memory

Form: Imagism

To mine let it be true
Can I ask one thing of you
One last memory is all I say is it too much
I daze to see your face, I tremble in your embrace
I shed a tear for you please thine be true
One more memory of your body to caress and nothing less
I need you now tonight will it be right
I see the changing of the leaves
I feel the birds begin to fly
and I softly mention to you should I take another ride
To mine let it be true one more memory is all I ask of you
My heart it feels so sorrowful to see you in this winter will you be shy
I feel the motion of the planets realign in our eyes
I designate my shadow just to feel alive
For a pigeon knows her shadow and for that it may be enough
But for me its a reflection in a memory that must show up

14?. Love And Belonging

Form: Rhyme

There was a legend in the villages beyond the forest,
of a man who lived with wolves in a pack of the strongest.
No one had ever seen him in reality,
only human prints had been found amongst those of the wolf army.
The wolf pack dwelled deep in the vast woods,
in time the man forgot his human life and falsehoods.
He became a skilled hunter. fast and brutal,
in him dwelled a kind heart, a compassion for the wolf battle.
He was especially fond of the alpha males son, it was a special bond,
this boy wolf became the child the man had never in his human life found.
They were inseparable, dedicated to each other,
he watched with pride as the boy grew into a fierce fighter.
One day the alpha male went out scouting,
they found his body at the bottom of a ravine dying.
A gunshot in his brain, the hate for man confirmed again,
there was no battle for leadership, as it was destined.
The boy wolf turned mighty was the new alpha male,
together for years they led the troop that created many a folktale.
The man had found a love and belonging, he never had as human,
something that had evaded him all his human life and had left him broken.

15. The Legend of the Man up Sugar Hollow

Form: Rhyme

High above a small Road  called Sugar Hollow, a towering rock loomed in the distance it had brought the small town sorrow.  The  rock had fallen from another Mountain above it. A tale that  had grown for all to love it.  It had rolled down the bank and made its permanent residence above the small Hollow. Rumor, had it that it had fallen over 200 years ago, during a Horrific mudslide, common in Kentucky. The thick mud was mixed with clay, giving it a dirty Orange Look all would say.  Sugar Hollow was the narrowest hollow that one may see. It looked as if it was carved in the middle of two enormous Mountains Perfectly. It was nestled sweet in between the Mountains. Not many people could even walk around it. Rumors circulated the small community. A tale that had grown for you and me. It was said that some type of mutated Creature. Decided to live and become a screechier, For all of those that walked the trail. He was said live inside the Indian rock, deep  inside the dark cave. Some had swore they would be made his slave. It was said to have been part human, and part Wolf man beginning the wild story. Only one had survived, Or was it all lies. They had stood face to face with the grizzly type creature. And it was said that he spoke, “that he would eat ya.” Rumors said to have stood over 12 feet tall, and hair that was so long all would fall, he stood   with enormous teeth that would clamp down on its prey and put all to sleep. The Legend had been passed down from the small hillbilly Community. Some had named him, and said he was some type of  hermit type man. Who grew his beard, so long that he resembles some type of wild man. Possibly mixed with some type of wolf man. Many had traveled the path towards the Wolf like creature. They had claimed they would prove the Legend fact.  Some would tremble at the  thought of the creatures large teeth. Would they ever be able to put the Wolf man Legend to an end.

16. silly dream by silly me

Form: Rhyme

 was walking on the street,
Gazing at people and wheat.
Listening to traffic police,
Watching the burden on coolies.
Alone I was,
Lost in my thoughts.
Trying hard to imagine,
Suddenly appeared a jinni.
Asked by him was a very obvious question,
YES, so happy I was! No objection!
Waiting for him to ask me my wish,
Just like he did with Aladdin.
Finally he broke his silence, asking me
"What is your wish my master?"
Of my wishes there was a never ending chapter.
I asked him to give me a second to think,
And there my candle of wishes had gone dim.
He said in a sad tone "your wish is fulfilled"
And I realized what I did!
Analyzing that I was one of the top three fools in the world
I suddenly heard
The car horns blowing,
The police shouting,
Asking me to get aside,
And I was so surprised.
I hit my head with a silly expression on my face,
And crossed the road at a faster pace.
For some reason I was happy,
That I didn't waste my wish, behaving like a child using a nappy.
Since that day whenever I walk on that road,
I feel in my brain the thought's load.
With the wishes, I would ask the real jinn to grant me,
To be careful with my wish this time I’ll for sure see!

17. the transformation

Form: Rhyme

even if a man say's his prayers
every single night
still theres nothing that can stop
the coming fright
the constant building
from day to night

it stays with you, always there
somewhere inside you
you know not where
a hunger that ravages!
morals and cares
it catches it's victim
no matter where

evening comes
it's time for the change
from man into werewolf
that cannot be chained

unleashed not unto the world
but into his own little cage
locking the world out
keeping visitors at bay

he wakes up sober
the feeling has passed
he says to himself
this must not last

yet every morning brings new hope
and plans of; not today, not today
but his body has it's own plans
and always, always gets it's way

(About me? Told you I was diviously smart.)

18. TODAY'SLOVE

Form: Light Poetry

Very much unlike the pigeon's love
For the man that feeds it
Come rain or sun it stays

Just like the butterfly
and the scent flowers:
Enticing colored petals
and sweet smell it displays
to attract it preys

The butterfly suck the nectar
emptied it an fly away

Like
The Gold-digger hand-in-hand
with the Soothsayer
Who is deceiving Who?

19. Body of Lies Wolfman the middle

Form: Rhyme

Living in the wild
walking circles trying to find
a place to lay his head
where the night would ease his mind.
Not of this world
lost in a silent dimension
Like an adolescent boy
beyond his comprehension.
He is superhero undergoing
transformations
Confused at his purpose in life
born with no invitation.
A hollowness inside growing
faster than the wind
Like cancer eating rapidly
No medicine can mend.
Silent so not to cause
any public fear.
Screaming inside
because he's so sincere.
Trapped in a body
nowhere left to run
Longing for a freedom
He isn't certain can be won.
Entering into a
territory of fear
Holding onto faith
That the next phase of life is near.
Peace overcomes him
as the night envelops his heart.
No idea where he is going
and not scared to soon embark.

20?. Woods Woo Wolf Man

Form: Free verse (vers libre)
*For the Wolf Man Contest ......

"Woods Woo Wolf Man"

beneath the fullness of the golden Moon
a human transformation
to hairy beastly creature
who prowls and howls
ravishing villagers
beware! the sign of the pentagram.

emotional upheaval
an ancestral curse
gypsy roots resurrect
from love bite
feeding stalking addiction
searching for blood ... for true love ...
to erase the hex.

Wolf bludgeons his prey
walking stick weapon
an antique purchased from
his heart throb
soon romance is freed demise
in rampant rage to kill true love
his soft heart bids her escape.

as chanting echoes
into eerie evening ...
"even a man who is pure of heart
and even says his prayers by night
may become a wolf when the wolf bane blooms
and the autumn moon is bright"

though love ruled his veins
cruel curse owned his soul
attack in cold woods
screams ... loud ... louder ...
a gunshot breaks sheer silence
one silver bullet
aimed by true love
banned the curse but
broke the wolf man's heart
death shelters this sad creature
a man-animal
as another love bites the dust.

21. Wolf

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

Silence fills the forest with sullen asps in torment

Gone are the days of free reign through caged fury
With howls of evil torn emotion.
To summon its beckoning call exposed to the elements,
Shadows crawling ant in swift desolation.

A lone stand the powerful wolf
Blackened eyes in proven moments of disaster

We then run in swift abode exposed to laughter proned in fear
The wolf carry's on in search of blood cold vengence in its grasp
Pillaged through the mass of spite
Reflective in its hallow pressed shell

In vengence, we scorn the blade with filtered appease to harm
Alone again in search for food it vomits out debris,
Searching for plants and water to drink,
The running with the wolf pack feeling that I'm never turning back!

22. Butterflies

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

BUTTERFLIES

Clouds passing by swiftly.
Like the desert sands,
tiny grains rest in my hand.
Here I lay peaceful on the ground.
My life finally reached its final strand.
Breathing faintly with no sound.
My life slowly slips back into Gods hands.
Counting each beat from my heart.
Leaving behind this shallow land.
Taking a long glimpse of this magical world.
Something came to carry me away.
Without giving me a chance to say goodbye.
This wind gave me a sensation in not wanting to stay.
Gliding away into the blue sky.
Finally I feel this heavy load removed.
I look back and see where my body still lays.
An empty temple, no longer full of grace.
My life in front of me revealed.
Blessed for all those days I would pray.
God protecting me with his shield.
Kept his promise to take me back one day.
Now I am back where I belong.
Pass the horizon of the ocean sky.
Living among the butterflies.
Reunited with my love ones.
Angles flutter into the sky.
When your life on earth is done.
For you I will wait beyond the sun.
Somewhere deep beyond the skies.
Your day soon will come with butterflies.

23. Daring knight

Form: Ballad

Over the hills through the valley,
a night has to walk to reach his lover.
through the sandy hills of deserts,
a knight must walk to reach his quest.
through the chilly and icy hills,
a knight must walk to reach his ice princess.
But the love an ice princess can give doesn't
last forever,so what can she give?
loyalty, gratitude, a lover's excuse.
she can't give anything but her true love.

24. The Wolf Man

Form: Rhyme

Startled by the pack as he awoke, he froze,
eye's darted back and fourth, Dam!, no where to go,
a mists his hazy wake a shadow drew near,
he sensed familiarity, but move he did not dare.
The shadow spoke so softly to him in his mind,
reminded him of a lost time gone by,
the pack was his to command, possessed with spirits of a accident line,
his pack, he was the alpha prime, from a pre reincarnated time.
Within these hills 1000 moons ago, a battle for the valley ended below,
the alpha prime scarified his life for his pack, he told them to run and not look back.
His pack pledged an oath to end the enemies blood line,
awaiting the return of there prime till the end of time.
The shadow touched the mans inner soul,
and with that all old memories came back like a bolt,
The enemy he had seen the day before,
that grizzly bear, you were all here, it was he who left in fear.
Then man jumped up to his feet, "prepare for the enemy we must meet",
the pack jumped as well, now sharing single mind, single thought, single smell.
He gave a mighty howl that echoed for miles as he pull his knife from his sleeve,
"time to hunt, I want the heart of my enemy".
Didn't take long a scent they could smell, they sensed as well.
Around trees, bushes the pack ran, as the man thought out a deadly plan,
Higher and higher up the mountain top they ran,
finally to a clearing where the bear sat.
Surrounding him instantly teeth starting to glare, growling and barking with out fear,
the bear stood to meet his foe, his giant paws ready he began to growl low.
The man circled the bear slow sizing him out,
then he attacked plunging the knife into the bears mouth,
The bear grabbed the man with it might paws,
and bite down on the mans shoulder bone with it jaws,
as the man felt his bones start the shatter and crack,
the rest of the pack started to attack.
Relentlessly the pack attacked from every angle they could see,
bringing the mighty grizzly to it's knees,
It was there the man managed his last fatal blow,
plunging his knife into the heart of his foe.
That final blow ended the pact, released from there bound oath was the pack,
as the spirits started drift away, the man stood, then fell dazed.
Confused with his surroundings, the man was not aware,
where he was, or how he got there,
he looked at his wound as the pain set in, struggling to get back to his feet again.
He went to the end of the clearing to find a place to sit,
falling close by so he just crawled towards it.

25. My Ovaltine Nightmare

Form: Rhyme

- A nightmare of fear woke up in a fright

A wolf stood outside our window that night

Darkest of night a light down the hall

Our mother with neighbour no sugar for morn

His teeth dripped saliva pronged to a gleam

stood tall in the window of six foot it seemed

My sister asleep and my heart thumping raced

I screamed for my mother my sister awakes

I heard heavy footsteps on stairs coming near

I mixed dream and reality the wolf's coming here

Then suddenly realised a slight saving grace

Those feet were not mother's nor wolf in this place

A lodger was staggering a drink maybe more

His shoe steps remembered on stairs and in hall

Into his room and bangs his door shut

Mother strolls in straight after this but

I screamed and I shouted and looked for her love

She promised she'd never get sugar above

I remember this well and the darkness and dread

She calmed me with Ovaltine the sugar and bed. True Story

26. The Shortcut

Form: Rhyme

A shortcut through the trees,

The smell of swetty fur on the breeze

Whispers in the dark,

Shadows leaving an oily mark

The walk down the path

Where the leaves dance a wrath

over shadows on the lane,

The wind cold with stinging pain

I try to hum under my breath,

and not think of death

I hasten my pace,

to end this death race

Shadows are chasing me,

over every rock, and bush I see.

the path seems to glow,

and the length to grow.

With each step I take,

Lungs are about to break.

The world stands still,

as I reach the steep hill,

Branches reaching out,

to upend my route.

I would feel so warm,

safe out of this storm

If I could only reach,

My house by the beach.

My breath begins to wheeze,

as I breathe the musky breeze

and when I look back,

I see, amber eyes shrouded in black

With teeth as sharp as nail,

fears of my emanate impale.

I make it to my door,

with relief, I swore.

I reach out to open the lock,

and imagine the shock,

As two furry taloned paws,

Pulls me to razored jaws.

27. A Day in the Life of The Wolf Man

Form: Rhyme

The Wolf Man awakened by the winter sun,

saw evidence the wolves had been and gone.

They'd left him some breakfast, a big chunk of meat

from an unlucky deer they had pulled down.

After rudimentary morning ablutions

and a brushing of his long beard with fresh snow,

he pulled a match from his fast dwindling pile.

All of his precious stores were getting low.

He had made a simple stove from the tin cans

he had brought with him with provisions to consume.

An open fire was luxury he could not afford.

A forest fire would bring him and his friends to certain doom.

His customary hunger every morning

would soon be satiated with deer steak.

On his primitive stove he brewed some wild root tea.

There was no store bought coffee left to make.

As he ate his tasty meal he looked around

and planned his busy schedule for the day.

First on his list must be to carve another

for axe handle he had broken yesterday.

Perhaps he would find time to have a run

with his friend the the big wolf leader of the pack.

He'd have to hurry home before the dark

to build a fire to heat his little shack. to be continued

29. Wolf- Man, the middle

Form: Narrative

Day crackles clean and warm like burning coal

A new passion swam his veins, they bonded him

For that pheromone was strong in him, and abrim

The pack bayed towards the sunlight burning gold

And welcomed a brave brother wolf into the fold

For he who before the bear stood calm, his noble

Suit displayed, found his totem in a moment bold

And transmigrated his soul to the new realm possible.

He could not make destiny again, but destiny chose

For him, the wolf man everywhere was known. He

Was the hero wanted, yet scorned with circles closed

Like doors against him, for all his deeds of mercy.

But the dog gene made him a man's best friend still

And howling he brings the pack always to his will

Neither did they sit while any child or innocent ached

With fear or pain, and from the malice of evil intent.

The wolf man knew but little thought how each act

Propelled him to a higher level and another death sent

For seeds all die that spring to trees, and the same fact

Was true for him every new level he was to attain

While propelled upwards greater animals to become

He knew the bear level awaited him next in the chain

Of cycles. But for service alone his heart still hummed.

Nor did he know hes was hunted too, for one man firm

In his conviction to repay, the thing that from forest came

The thing massive in muscles, humble in every term

That dared the forking tongue of a livid flame

To retrieve a child, the only child the mother left behind

The child that was enblem and memory of that love

Whose death would perish his flesh and torment his mind

The wolf-like thing, the man beast on wings, dove

In from above, and came out with life between his jaws

Hair fried, and limping as if with injured paws

And the throng of them that rush upon the scene then

Making a barrier between it and curious but cruel men

And how it seemed in thin air he vanished without reward

And cause a grateful father to follow the trail full and hard.

Did he have the hours to find him still, to meet the kind

That make us wretched because our hearts are blind

Did he with ego melted, and with a different disposition

Qualify to know and taste the foreign truth of transmigration

To destinies on the brink of fate, and death at the gate

Gasping and gulping, still in the grasp of time we wait.

30?. DEATH STALKER

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

It waits for us in the darkness,

Shadows creature, alluding detection,

A wondering nomad,

Owing allegiance to none,

But hungers inner desire.

Breathing softly, quietly watching,

Crouching, tensions muscles

Rippling uneasy.

Anticipations appetite sends,

Adrenalin’s rush, coursing through

Deadened nerves.

Fears sent carried upon the wind,

The death stalker is frozen,

In silences killing stances.

Strand muscles clenched flesh,

A chill fills mornings first rays.

Feel its awaking coming ever closer,

Icy threshing claws cutting deeply,

Into thick grass.

It watches each step the victim makes,

Desperation’s meal includes mans,

Warm flesh.

Mine own death, she follows me,

In illuminations darkest depths,

My soul makes peace with fate.

Heaven weeps, angels turn away,

Lord God, have mercy on fallen men.

Forgiveness divine, bounded in time.

Cling, heaviness regrets sorrow's,

Shortly lived.

Leaving thee pleading,

For mercy’s pity,

Forsaking thus mortal soul.

A voice cry’s out lingering on,

Stilled echoes deafness.

The shaking willow disguises,

A blending chameleon,

It strikes in split

Seconds timing,

The battle is done.

Rest in peace child of humanity.

The beast sleeps with carnal,

Satisfaction grinning smile.

31. The four seasons of love

Form: Light Poetry

The four seasons of love

I saw an angel standing on a winter’s day
And my hearts began to melt
Just like the snow
When the morning sun is felt

I try to reach her
But couldn’t stop the train
And as the winter end
I never saw her again

Spring is in the air now
All the flowers are in bloom
Two birds build a nest
Outside my bed room

The days are getting longer
Can feel the Northern Breeze
I thought I have seen her.
But it’s just the shadows in the trees

Summer suns shines
Children playing on the sand
The schools are close
And Vacations has began

I thought that I have seen her
On the fourth of July
But it was just the fireworks
Playing tricks with my eyes

Fall is here gain
From my window I see it Cleary
And laughs when Sheldon says bazinga
On the big bang theory

I hope one day I can see her
She, s  all I thinking of
Will always remember this
As the seasons I found love
My four seasons of love

32. The Journey so Far

Form: Enclosed Rhyme

Sunlight Cascading Into Flamboyant Shades,

Lives emerge and unite in Cacophony.

An Eerie silence, a glare and a Ripped feeling,

Is this what I Embody and Signify to you??

The Jealousy to Possess the Moments with you,

A Vehement resentment on being amalgamated in Crowd.

How do you Create Things So Negative Yet So Lovely,

That I feel ashamed and snivel at to Share.

Never In Life, Have I been so Alienated,

A feeling to Reserve all My Thoughts for You.

A Thousand Letters, A hug and a Bosom Full of Emotions,

Unshared yet Uncluttered.

That's How Distances and Time Whisper,

Never let these Moments of Boundless Love Trail Away,

A Trail that Sketches my Memory.

Without that Known Silhouette, Silences Ache up,

Winks turn into cold Stares, Flaring upon a Soul's being.

A Sudden Shriveled Drop retaliates,

Hide the Sorrow, Hide The Moment..

A stare at the Perfect Mirror Rim,

Into Those Eyes as I Realize,

“I WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN"!!!

33. Wolfman

Form: Rhyme

The wolves were hunting food
And sighted grazing sheep;
The pack encircled them,
Deciding which to keep.

As Wolfman joined the hunt,
The leader brought one down,
And killed it in a flash -
It died without a sound.

The leader took his share,
Then others had their fill,
And Wolfman tried raw meat,
Expecting to be ill.

His teeth, too, ripped at flesh,
His face besmeared with blood,
But then his neighbour fell
And died upon the mud.

The farmer fired again,
Another wolf fell dead,
Next time the farmer missed -
The wolves and Wolfman fled.

For Silly Billy’s Wolfman

34. Blue Moon

Form: Blank verse

I'm lost inside your world...
       Hang on every word...
       A love I can't afford...
       I breaks my heart...
       Sapping my hopes..
       Draining my dreams...
I live my life in a constant
       daze...
       Confused,bewitched and
       bewildered...
       Hot under the collar...
My love is far too young...
       It's painfully naive..
For a man matured in years..
       I worry...
       About the money...
       Living faraway from friends...
about the years I have not got...
And yes I love too much..
       Your always on my mind...
Not to sure if that's healthy...
You make me feel ten feet tall...
       And then I fall..
       Or hit the wall...
       I am a fool...
       For believing dreams come true..
       They only make you blue...

35.  Serenade To The Wolf

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

When we are rendered alone
And don't know where we should go
We new to overcome
The forces who drag us under

Some will persist to stay
But the darkness only grows ever stronger
It's time to anew

Though it gets harder every day
I'll promise I'll always live for you
There's no need to state your pain
I already see it in your eyes
We can break from their lies
Come and see what you have
come and see what you have is me

36. You're The One Who Holds The Key

Form: Rhyme

From the moment I first saw you,
my heart became attached.
It was under my lock and key,
but you also had one to match.
A part of me feels missing,
whenever you're not around.
But when you're by my side,
I never feel lost but always found.
But before I ever met you
I surely didn't know,
that you'd soon be within' my life,
and that our love would begin to grow.
You have your special qualities,
that brightens my whole day.
For your love is buried within' my heart,
where I'm intending on it to stay.
You have a sense of humor,
that no one else can match.
Whenever my feelings feel dim or down,
you have a self-uprising patch.
You're the one I can grab onto,
if I ever need a hug.
You know the key to just how,
to reveal unto me your love.
I appreciate all the support you give,
even when I don't insist.
For if I'm ever in a situation,
I know you'll be there to help assist.
The key of knowing I had found my love,
is I had that feeling inside.
And knowing the one that held the key,
had the power to keep it alive.
All of these numerous feelings,
tells of how our love should always be.
They'll remain locked and kept inside me,
for you're the one who holds the key.

37. wolfman

Form: Rhyme

the wolf inside him speaks
telling him of his life so bleak
the wolf needs to come alive
to stay alive
or else end before his time
by one man-father time
awakened by the earth's growls
on all fours he sprowls
scavenging through wooded acres he roams
looking for something to comb
devoured by day's eluding sun
knowing deep within his heart
his choice of leaving civilization was smart

38. What Im made of

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

I will cure you of all your pain:
The lie that inflamed you,
The game that betrayed you.

I will cure you of all your shame:
The pity that distained you,
The past that retained you.

I will cure you of all your insecurities:
The shallow thoughts that enslaved you,
The mindless torture that ereased you.

Your eyes will close.
Seated firmly in a chair.
Positioned in a room.
Flashing lights.
Beaming bulbs.
A single drip of sweat,
And you will be cured.

39. Ode To Napoleon

Form: Classicism

Restlessness in spirit...
he became 'The Corsican,'
over-bearance of a mother
he was forced to take a stand!
And he became...
Anxious!

Counter-veiling parent ways,
a struggle for his life.
A paradox, he was attached
to Josephine, his wife.
And he became...
Lonely!

From his father he derived,
magnetic forces... not contrived.
From his mother, discipline...
as an influence he would win!
And he became...
Aggressive!

All his moods authenticated,
and his habits demonstrated!
One reserved... he was alone...
when provoked and on his own,
he became...
Ruthless!

As a 'poor boy' he embittered,
cynicism as he whithered.
Feelings all about his mother...
made him wary of another.
And he was...
Suspicious!

Pessimism without rest,
as he tried to be the best!
Perfectionism with disdain,
Napoleon, he would remain...
Impatient!

A Romantic fantasy...
as he struggled to be free!
Contradiction... he persisted...
obstacles which he resisted,
and he became...
Neurotic!

Self-destruction played a part,
'Raison d etat' became his art!
His adventures they'd explain...
a defiance for his gain.
And he became...
Impulsive!

Betrayal was a theme in life,
his possession for a wife.
Hail Josephine in all her flare...
but she became a snare!
And he was...
Depressed!

Money, it was his obsession,
predominant in his depression!
Napoleon was...
Reckless!

Sexuality for his desire,
when a woman was on fire...
Napoleon was so naive
for any woman to receive,
and he became...
Secretive!

A pragmatist or so it seems,
a fantacist with his own dreams...
Two sides of great Napoleon,
but he would win!
And he became...
Lucky!

Napoleon, he was a charmer...
indecisive in his armor.
Napoleon, he had his way...
all his men that he would sway,
and he became...
Intollerant!

An intellect with awesome range,
prodigious memory without change.
A lucid mind that he offset...
those qualities which he'd regret.
Napoleon became...
Romantic!

An intellectual was at war,
satisfaction to get more!
All for his imagination
he became...
Obsessed!

Napoleon, he searched for light,
in the sky for his delight.
He claimed he saw his star...
and he went far!
And he became...
A Hero!

and crowned himself...
Emperor!

41. WHAT IS PATIENCE

Form: I do not know?

Patience is saying,
I love you,
Waiting for the same,
Patience is not saying,
I told you so...
But we learn from our mistakes,
Patience is failing unabatingly,
But still waiting for the best results,
Patience is smiling,
When you are told...
You are dieing,
Patience is keeping your 'friends',
Hoping they will be true,
Patience is sitting back,
To write a poem,
About your ex-love,
Who left...years back,
In hope of their return,
Patience is waiting,
For a drop of water,
From a leaf in the Sahara,
Patience is me,
I am Patience,
Makes you grin
At the edge of a machete.

42. NOLSTALGIC PIE

Form: Enclosed Rhyme

For so long but how long
If saw my pie then will sigh
For so long and now I long
With nostalgia I remember

Since my pie went with school
Without my pie my heart will die
And now my eye full like pool
With nostalgia I remember

In my heart is where it hurts
Full of song but how long
Now I sob for all the wrong
With nostalgia I remember

My days are gone and now for long
Within my hut my dreams are shut
Oh! my dove I miss your love
With nostalgia I remember

I cant hep cry though I try
I she alone or is she all gone?
Lets not dry come lets try
With nostalgia I remember

43?. Narcissus is Narcissus no way out

Form: Free verse (vers libre)

Narcissus …Why poor Narcissus is Narcissus?
Narcissus is the only speaker,
The good one n only listener
Invited to invent words
To make sense and justify world

Speaking to himself, Narcissus plays
Time, truth, Narcissus goes in all ways
Narcissus was damned, ate from the forbidden apple
Narcissus is Narcissus, made of seduction
From which the cancer grew and the memory was lost
his mind is the cancer, thereby everything has become a question

If mind is cancer, seduction is curse then full knowledge shall be the cure
But Narcissus is human, only gods know for sure
Victorious cancer stands alone, feeding selfishness that can never cease
Here in building rockets or walking on moon, that love grows and increase
One day , Narcissus came  by a stream, stunned by his reflection
Seduction has been always his fate, for which  will always bend
Gods as well, creating and thinking make them  with Narcissus in one hand
All Forgetting that in solitude mind  is the major deception

Admiring himself more and more
nothing to do but being Narcissus the poor
Narcissus plunged in water, no one saw him again
That was the sad story of eternal madness in vain :
‘Narcissus never begins, never ends
Narcissus is  Narcissus, never understands’

47. The Wolf Man

Form: Narrative

Now, he is one with the pack
and they're always on the attack
The scent of prey is in the air
Enemies of the pack, beware!
They hunt under the pale moonlight
The wolf man leads them in the night

Thus the wolf man became notorious
The pack's exploits so glorious
Ravaging every town that doesn't submit
Taking all they can, and lives of those unfit
and no one ever dared to cross their path
and incite their awesome wrath

But then, one night, a mob, in rage
Scoured the woods, wanting the wolf man erased
The pack will fight for him until the end
Their loyalty to him cannot be bent
So they fought, a losing battle, though
One by one they fell, turned cold as snow

The wolf man despaired, but still they fought on
His pack stands united, their faith unflawed
Their numbers dwindled, the mob pushed them deep
"Is this the end?" The wolf man asks while he weeps
The pack tells him to run, run to save himself
Without question he runs, looking back to them as they fell

But he is still hunted, and can't find refuge
A different place, but in there, someone still pursues
Another mob, with desire to slay
Nothing more to keep them at bay
Mortally wounded, he cowers and runs away
Was the pack's sacrifice made in vain?

she said "what have you to offer me?"
I answered with sincerity.
"my queen, i am humble. i have not much to offer, as i have no money or kin to speak of.
but heed my words, queen, as i come for reasons even god would not understand.
i bring to you, my queen, only what you see.
i offer to you my heart. let the blood it flows sustain you.
i offer you my soul, and may its vitality teach you more than any teacher.
i give you my body, and may its warmth keep you through the night,
so that you may never be alone, my queen, so long as i live.

51. A riddle

Form: Ballad

Who am I?

52. A PART OF SOMETHING

Form: Prose Poetry

God created hands for building things. Sometimes before you build something, you must first destroy something else.

Wildfires are never supposed to be put out. Their sole purpose is to burn the entire forest to the ground, transform living things to fertilizer, making room and preparing the soil for new growth.
It is almost paradoxical,
that there must be death before birth

My hands have stared the grim reaper’s reflection inside the pool of my best friends blood. An old student I used to tutor told me that I am the best brother she could have asked for
She said she will always love me
This was after I burned every bridge that traversed the gaps between us
Stared at her from across her desk
Told her that she will never be my sister. That our bloodlines will never match.
Our gene pools are just strangers that made the same wrong turn.
I spent so much time trying to find my way back that I never realized I was home in being lost I found something comfortable, without expectations. I only corrected myself after she spoke,
because I heard something familiar in her voice.
She sounded like family.

I have the scarred and wrinkled hands of a senior citizen
I’m only 22 years old
I once got my palm read
This gypsy woman told me that my lifeline should have been cut short when I hit 17.
That was a year ago.
What do gypsies know anyway
I have defied the odds my entire life.
Been broke down and built back up too many times to count
My fingernails chewed raw to the cuticle out of anxiety
I enjoy the taste of my own pain
Sometimes I use my own hands to destroy myself just to see who my real friends are who will build me back up when I can’t do it alone

My hands have a desire to learn how to cook, but I’m not that great.
So when I am alone,
I tend to be hungry, not just for food though.
I starve for someone to talk to
It never satiates, because it’s not you.
I know what it tastes like to completely give myself to someone.
My biggest fear is being abandoned.
When I look into your eyes, I am not afraid.
I need to cook you up a feast of myself, then feed it to you every day for the rest of our lives
Please tell me what I really taste like,
Be honest.

Years after my grandfather passed away, my grandmother moved into my aunt’s house.
Since I was 5, every time I speak to her she asks me:
“Spenser, did you thank God for waking you up today?”
I think to myself, I never did tell my eyes to open themselves. It just happened.
So I don’t know how to respond to her correctly.
I tell her that I love her, that I am writing a lot.
She tells me that she puts her hands together for me every night
Prays that I will get the job I want
I guess some prayers do get answered.
Sometimes two hands in the right position, matched with a conversation with God,
Can change things.
I even accidentally call that place home sometimes.

My dream is that my hands evolve into wolves, become part of a pack and work together with other hands to make a difference
Some days they will be the alpha male.
Full of confidence, at the head of the pack
Other days I need someone to show me the right way to go
Because if I’ve learned anything
It’s that I am not always right
I can not always be in control of everything
The only thing I have ever really wanted is to know
That my hands were truly
A part of something.

53. Moonlight Dream

Form: Tanka

I always said that i came alive at night
The same time the moon shined
I always felt powerful and strong
Doing everything possibly wrong
I remember seeing a girl walking the streets
Yellow ribbon dress running from me
I tried telling her not to worry
But she started screaming
I snatched her up and shook her
stopped the screaming
stopped her breathing
Moonlight Dream

I awoke to the sound of sirens
Covered in blood that surrounded
My mother asked me why i did it
Confused by the second
I ran far away in an instant
Went a far distance
A village on the horizon
Near the Appalachian Mountains
I pleaded for help
No one seems to listen
They run

I run and run
Now out of breath
Figured out what was wrong
Can't take another step
I fall asleep on the ground
Listen to the wolves howl
I close my eyes and dream
Another dream
Another dream
Moonlight Dream

I always said that I came alive at night
The same time the moon shined
This time I saw a couple dining
I stood out the window and stared
My stomach ached of hunger
I waited for hours
A few hours went by
They haven't came out
feeling so hungry
Big appettite for your blood
That fake red love
Moonlight Dream

I crash through the window where you sit
You scream
I tear your skin
Say goodbye
I almost slurp
I awoke to the sound of screams
Not sure what's going on
Had a bad dream
There's blood everywhere
I did this?
I killed them?

This is my Moonlight Dream
